The entry fee will be split equally between Holiday for Heroes Jersey, Jersey Cancer Relief, Jersey Children's Charity and Philip's Footprints. You can then choose to raise sponsorship for a charity of your choice from the drop down list.
Ports of Jersey are offering 100 people in Jersey the opportunity to take part in a charity cycle ride along the runway to raise money for several local charities, including their nominated charity partners; Holiday for Heroes Jersey, Jersey Cancer Relief, Jersey Children's Charity and Philip's Footprints.
The ‘Ride the Runway’ event, which is open to anyone over the age of nine with a roadworthy bike and helmet, will take place on the 1,706 metre runway early in the morning on Sunday 18 March, 2018. The event is limited to 100 participants and available on a first-come basis.
Cyclists will be asked to donate £32 to take part. They will cycle as a group along a specially marked route for around half an hour. Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.
Arriving at 06.15, to start promptly at 06.45.
Entrance Fee includes refreshments, a glow-stick pack and a congratulatory medal. As a special bonus all cyclists will also be entered into a prize draw to win a trip for two around the Air Traffic Control Centre, to be taken at a later date.
